Personally, I wouldn't focus on Daxos being there much; instead make it so that Daxos is something you can comfortably drop and leave around till he can pump out big creatures, since if you focus too heavily on his presence, your deck crumbles if he's targeted a lot, or just dies incidentally. Two colors with a heavy emphasis on enchantments cuts down the viable card pool a bit. The best of those for our deck is Angel of Invention, with Marionette Master having use but not the same power level it normally has. Some of the highest picks for this deck are going to be the cards that yield tokens with the least cost or setup. Spirit Mirror or Retreat to Emeria will likely get us a token every turn, but only require we play Magic. Since utilising Daxos is a slow strategy, you need to combat other strategies so you don't just die to someone who pulled out insane value from the engines they constructed. I think you want to cast him, then just dump a whole bunch of enchantments super fast so that when he dies - and it's commander so he will die - you will be able to recast him and be able to start pumping out super beefy tokens.
